Alberta Investment Management Corp. (AIMCo), a major Canadian institutional investor, is focusing on increasing its Asia exposure by tapping into infrastructure investments. Currently, the company aims to grow its Asia portfolio contribution from mid-single digits to about 10% to 15% of assets under management. Kevin Bong, head of Singapore at AIMCo, revealed this plan during an interview at the Milken Institute Global Investors' Symposium in Hong Kong. The firm's strategic move underscores its intent to diversify and expand its investment horizon in the flourishing Asian market.
