China has lodged a complaint with the World Trade Organization over the US Inflation Reduction Act, stating it discriminates and distorts the global EV supply chain. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce contends that the associated rules are discriminatory and have seriously distorted the EV supply chain, impacting global trade. This move further escalates the ongoing dispute between China and the US over electric-vehicle subsidies, and could have significant implications for the global EV market.
