The European Central Bank is set to discuss lowering borrowing costs at its next two meetings, as stated by Governing Council member Olli Rehn. In a blog post on Friday, Rehn mentioned that the risks of premature interest rate cuts have reduced due to the updated forecast and lower growth forecast. The Council will revisit this decision in the April and June meetings based on the most recent information.
