Ethiopia and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are set to continue discussions later this month regarding a bailout program aimed at restructuring the country's debts. The IMF staff's recent two-week visit to Ethiopia has made substantial progress in determining how the IMF could support the authorities' economic program. Mission Chief Alvaro Piris stated that talks will persist during the IMF Spring Meetings in Washington, which commence on April 15. This ongoing dialogue highlights the efforts towards finding solutions for Ethiopia's economic challenges and debt management.
