According to the recent monthly survey conducted by the European Central Bank (ECB) among the currency bloc's consumers, there is an anticipation of a further decline in inflation. The survey held in February revealed that consumers expect an inflation rate of 3.1% in the next twelve months, compared to 3.3% in January, marking the lowest level since the onset of the war in Ukraine in February 2022. Over a three-year horizon, an increase of 2.5% is still anticipated, based on the ECB's announcement on Tuesday.
