French power prices have seen a sharp decline, with consumption expected to drop further as the nation's nuclear fleet has largely recovered from operational issues. This recovery comes after many reactors were offline in recent years. Front-month futures have plummeted by as much as 24%, the steepest drop in over a year. Currently trading at about half the price of Germany's, which serves as a benchmark for the region. This significant decrease is indicative of the shifting dynamics in the energy market.
