India will reimpose limits on imported solar energy modules after relaxing curbs for a year, providing relief to domestic manufacturers facing competition from cheaper overseas shipments. The eased rules will end on March 31, with an approved list of domestic models and manufacturers coming back into effect the next day, barring imported modules from use in the country. This move aims to boost the local solar energy industry and protect domestic producers from the impact of cheaper imports.
