PIK 2, backed by billionaire Anthoni Salim and Sugianto Kusuma, will invest $2.5 billion to create a 1,755-hectare tourism estate in Banten, Indonesia. The project is expected to generate 30,000 jobs and feature a safari area, golf course, hotels, and a racing circuit. It is part of the government's strategic projects and aims to attract 10 million tourists annually by 2060, contributing to economic growth in Indonesia. Majority owned by Multi Artha Pratama (MAP), PIK 2 is linked to the Salim Group and Kusuma’s Agung Sedayu. Anthoni Salim, with a net worth of $10.3 billion, has significant interests in food, banking, and energy sectors.
