A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Elon Musk’s X Corp. against a group monitoring online hate speech. The judge, Charles Breyer, concluded that the lawsuit was an attempt to punish criticism of the social media platform. This ruling is considered a victory for the Center for Countering Digital Hate, which was accused of falsely stating that the platform is overwhelmed with harmful content. The lawsuit was aimed at the watchdog, but it has been tossed out by the judge.
