Mozilla has terminated its partnership with Onerep, the company responsible for its service that removes sensitive data from the web, due to revelations of its CEO's ties to data broker sites. The decision comes after an investigation revealed that Onerep's CEO has been involved with numerous people-search sites since 2010. Additionally, the CEO was found to have links to Nuwber, a company that Onerep claims to target with its data-removal service. Despite the CEO's lengthy response, Mozilla decided to part ways, stating that Onerep's CEO's outside financial interests do not align with its values.
