Glen Kelp, while scouting for support for his new company, stumbled upon an unexpected booth at a startup fair in Estonia – NATO's. The military alliance was recruiting for its very first business accelerator. This move caught Kelp off guard, as the defense industry's interest in technology startups had mainly focused on sensors and weapons, not his field. Kelp, a physicist from Tartu, Estonia, recently co-founded GaltTec, a company marketing their invention of incredibly fine ceramic tubes for energy-efficient fuel cells. This unusual alliance between NATO and innovative startups has sparked intrigue and curiosity in the tech and defense sectors.
