OpenAI, the artificial intelligence pioneer, is set to establish its first office in Asia with a launch planned for Tokyo in April. This move is part of its global expansion as the company progresses in building out its international operations. According to a source familiar with the matter, the Japan office will be OpenAI's third international location, following the opening of offices in London and Dublin last year. The decision to expand to Tokyo signifies OpenAI's commitment to strengthening its presence in key global markets, positioning itself for further growth and collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence.
