Pakistan's government, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is pursuing a request to the US to ease potential sanctions related to a natural gas pipeline project with Iran. Petroleum Minister Musadik Malik emphasized the need to provide 'political and technical' reasons to the US administration in order to secure waivers. He expressed that the pipeline project would not be able to withstand the weight of sanctions. This move reflects Pakistan's proactive efforts to address the challenges posed by external restrictions and to continue advancing its energy initiatives.
