Ripple's Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz, has revealed updates regarding his trading bot, creating excitement within the XRP community. The bot operates on an algorithm similar to XRP Ledger's AMM algorithm and has undergone testing, with an emphasis on Solana. Schwartz has implemented a new strategy envisioning three distinct AMMs for Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana, enabling the bot to take on additional risk. He expressed optimism about the bot's profitability, estimating an annual return of approximately 11%. Schwartz also clarified that AMMs are not exclusive to XRP and predicted that AMMs involving XRP will likely dominate due to the algorithm's bias toward volatility harvesting. However, controversy surrounds the XRPL AMM, as discrepancies in certain AMM pools have led to transaction execution issues. RippleX, the developer arm of Ripple, has advised against depositing new funds into these pools until the discrepancies are rectified, promising timely updates to the community.
