More than 15,000 Roku users have been affected by a data breach where account login credentials were compromised. Roku is working with law enforcement to conduct an investigation and is notifying impacted customers. The breach was due to unauthorized access using login credentials obtained from third-party sources. Payment details and personal information were not compromised, but affected customers are urged to update their passwords. Roku has already reset some account passwords and provided steps for others to do so. Additionally, customers are advised to review linked devices and subscriptions for any unauthorized activity.
