SpaceX and Larry Ellison's Oracle are joining forces to develop an AI-powered mapping application for farms. This tool will assist farms in planning, predicting, and enhancing their agricultural output. Larry Ellison announced this collaboration with Elon Musk during an earnings call. The AI tool will map out a country's farms and analyze their crops. It will also help farms evaluate steps to improve output and assess water and nitrogen levels. The close relationship between Musk and Ellison dates back years, and SpaceX's entry into the agricultural sector includes a partnership with John Deere. The collaboration aims to provide Starlink, SpaceX's satellite communications service, to farmers in order to maximize connectivity for their operations. Both SpaceX and Oracle have not yet responded to requests for comment.
