Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov announced that the company raised $330 million in investment through bond sales, marking an oversubscribed offering with favorable terms. Durov emphasized the participation of global funds with exceptional reputations, though no specific institutions were named. The current yield of the bonds is 7.7%, with a maturity date of 2026 or when Telegram goes public. With more than 900 million users, Telegram continues to explore revenue generation options and aims to be profitable next year, as well as exploring the possibility of going public.
