French builder Vinci SA and Spain's state-controlled airport manager Aena SME SA are in a competition to acquire Edinburgh Airport in Scotland from its owner, Global Infrastructure Partners, according to sources. Vinci SA and Aena SME SA are the remaining bidders for the asset after other interested parties withdrew. Global Infrastructure Partners is seeking over £3 billion ($3.8 billion) for the business, while the suitors are valuing it slightly lower in a deal, the sources reported.
