⚠️ Heads up: this article is from our "experimental era" — a beautiful mess of enthusiasm ✨, caffeine ☕, and user-submitted chaos 🤹. We kept it because it’s part of our journey 🛤️ (and hey, everyone has awkward teenage years 😅).
In the latest Windows 11 preview build 26080, Microsoft is making changes to Copilot, allowing users to undock the AI assistant and move it anywhere on the desktop. While the rollout is currently limited to Canary testers, Microsoft plans to gather feedback before a broader release. Additionally, under-the-hood improvements are expected, although details remain undisclosed.
